Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” — Matthew 9.37-38
Prayer is partnership with God. In this Refresh season of Roots’ life, we want to be seeking God, listening to God, petitioning God, and lamenting to God. To embody the “BLESS-ing” of God with and for our neighbors, we “Begin with Prayer.”
That is why, this Saturday (June 16th) at 10am, we are gathering in Frogtown to walk and pray for God to show us ways we are called to partner with what God is already up to in the neighborhood. We know God’s Spirit goes before us, and we want to follow God’s lead.
We’ll meet up in the parking lot of Faith Lutheran Church (499 Charles Ave.).
