Tomorrow, July 19th, we’re gathering once again at Phalen Park for worship, where we will continue in our Summer teaching series, “Misfits Under the Trees.” Pastor Osheta will be preaching on the story of Hagar, who met with the divine under a desert shrub in Genesis 16. There, in her time of need, God met her and she became the first person in scripture to name God. We will also have a special kids skit where our resident “Tree-hugger” will interview the Desert Shrub himself, to get an insider account. Corey Magstadt will lead us in musical worship and there will be time for prayer and Holy Communion.
