Women of Roots, let’s get together! Four gatherings between now and Christmas to discuss Shauna Neiquist’s book Present over Perfect: Leaving behind frantic for a simpler, more soulful way of living. There will be a lot to discuss, so come even if you haven’t read the book. This is a great topic for all of us as we enter into the Advent season. Plus, there will be SNACKS
Sunday December 10 is our first worship gathering with our new pastor, TC Moore! We’ll also be saying goodbye to Kara, our interim pastor, and thanking her for her leadership during a time of transition. Please join us for this important gathering!
We will have no worship gathering on December 3. During our usual worship gathering time, we’ll be joining Central Lutheran School (that’s the school where Roots meets) for its annual pancake fundraiser. There’ll be pancakes, sausages, and a book fair. Make a freewill donation if you’d like.
Roots is hosting a book fair of children’s books published by local Christian publisher Sparkhouse Family. There are books for kids ages 0-12 on a variety of topics rooted in Christian values.
