National Night Out is a time where folks can gather and get to know their neighbors in a safe and fun environment. It is in partnership between the community and the police department. We want to encourage all Roots folks to either go to your neighborhood’s National Night Out event or to join a National Night Out event in the neighborhoods that we worship in: Frogtown and Hamline-Midway. It is a great way to get to know folks in our wider community so that we can be the hands and feet of Jesus to them. It is hard to love others in the name of Jesus if we don’t know them. Let’s get out of our comfort zone so that we can share the love of Jesus with others!
